Jane Eyre (2011)

Back to 1847, many people in London had a chance to welcome a dramatic novel titled Jane Eyre for the first time. It was written by Charlotte Bronte under the pen name "Currer Bell." The renowned novel has been adapted for films, television, etc. Its most recent film version came out last year with Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender performing lead roles.

The story tells us about a young woman named Jane Eyre who takes the position of governess at Thornfield Hall. She meets her master, Edward Rochester, and falls for him. It appears that Mr. Rochester is interested in Jane also. After spending time together, their relationship develops into a commitment. His proposal unexpectedly reveals a secret kept in the house. What Jane has learned is so painful that she decides to leave.
